## What this is

**SEO Growth Skills** is a pack of 28 skills for Claude Code and other agents that read `SKILL.md`. Ask your agent to audit a site, find out why traffic fell, check why pages are not indexed, decide what to prune or publish, or measure whether an SEO change worked. It follows a clear method, asks you the right questions first, and tells you what it did not check.

It gives **checks and advice for a person to act on**. It never edits your site and never promises a ranking, traffic or revenue result.

## What you can ask it

- "Audit my site." It starts with how much tinkering the site needs right now, then runs the right checks in order.
- "Why did my clicks drop?" It separates tracking problems, seasonality, updates, AI features and real losses.
- "Why aren't my pages indexed?" It reads indexing statuses, robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals and redirects.
- "Did my change work?" It measures before and after against untouched pages and says when it cannot tell.
- "Which pages should I refresh, merge or remove?" It follows a fixed order and never jumps straight to deleting.
- "Are my template pages at risk of looking like spam?" It gives signals for review, never a verdict.
- "Which of my pages still say 2025?" It finds old years and figures that differ between your own pages.

## What makes it different

- **One owner per rule.** Each number or rule lives in one skill and the others point to it, so the skills never contradict each other.
- **Dated facts.** Every statement about Google's documents carries the date the page was read. Anything not confirmed is marked unverified and is not stated as fact.
- **Honest numbers.** Where a skill uses a threshold Google does not publish, it says it is a starting default we chose, not a Google figure.
- **Hints, not verdicts.** Findings say what was seen, how sure that is, what was not checked and what you could do next.
- **Works without paid tools.** Search Console data helps, but each skill says what to do without it.
- **Tested scripts.** Eight skills ship small, dependency-free Node scripts with tests, an example input and a worked example (invented data, clearly labelled).

## A taste of the output (invented example)

> Differs between your own pages. /tax/federal-brackets says "Boston residential property tax rate FY2026 is $12.40". /tax/boston says "Boston residential property tax rate FY2026 is $10.58". We have not checked which of them matches an official source.

> /tax/federal-brackets shows 2025 in its title, and today is 2026-10-21. This may be out of date. We have not compared it with an official source, so we cannot say whether it is current.

It shows both figures and never says which one is right.

## How to use it

1. Download the pack and unzip it. You get one folder, `seo-growth-skills`.
2. Put the folder where your agent keeps skills. For Claude Code that is `~/.claude/skills/` (or `.claude/skills/` inside a project). For other agents, point them at the folder's `SKILL.md`.
3. Ask: "Use seo-growth-skills to audit my site." The entry file hands your request to the right skill.
4. Optional: if you can run Node, open a skill's folder and run `node scripts/<name>.mjs references/example-input.json` to see a worked example.

## What it needs and does not need

- Needs an agent that can read files. Search Console access (an export or API) makes the movement, indexing and measurement skills much stronger.
- Does not need paid SEO tools, a database or any account.
- Never sends your data anywhere. The scripts read only the file you give them.

## Limits, said plainly

- It is **not calibrated on real sites**. Every number Google does not publish is labelled as a default, and the pack makes no accuracy claim.
- It gives **no ranking, traffic or revenue promise**.
- It is **not legal, financial, tax or medical advice**. The legal skill is a checklist for spotting exposure, not a legal opinion.
- It is **not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Bing or Capafy**.

## Questions

**Does it change my site?** No. It reads what you give it and reports.

**Will it improve my rankings?** It helps you find and decide what to fix. Results depend on your site and on search engines, and nothing here guarantees one.

**What about updates?** Buyers get later versions free through Capafy. We plan to review it about monthly as Google's documents change; see CHANGELOG.md inside for what changed.

**What licence is it?** A single-purchaser licence: use it on your own sites and your clients' sites, but don't share or resell the pack. See LICENSE.md inside.

**Support?** hello@bevizio.com
